Our client is a PE-backed, high-growth business based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, seeking a number two in Finance to join the Finance function.
As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Crafting monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
2. Analyzing monthly forecasts, KPIs, and providing insightful commentary on variances.
3. Owning accounting entries and performing monthly control account reconciliations.
4. Managing and supporting staff handling purchase and sales ledgers, addressing overdue balances.
5. Preparing and submitting VAT returns and overseeing payroll production, including PAYE and pension submissions.
6. Assisting in quarterly budget creation and maintaining daily financial processes for departmental efficiency.
7. Building strong inter-departmental relationships to ensure effective operation of the finance department.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. An ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or be near qualification.
2. Experience in management accounts with strong technical skills.
3. The ability to work under pressure and meet monthly deadlines with a positive attitude.
4. Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
5. Attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
