Finance Analyst – Immingham – Up to £41,000 Chase and Holland are excited to be supporting a well-established and growing business within the energy sector for a Volumetric Finance Analyst to join their UK team on a minimum 12-month basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical and accounting skills to work in a varied role supporting stock accounting, reporting, and operational finance activities. Working within the UK volumetric accounting team, you will support the reconciliation, reporting and analysis of inventory across multiple UK locations, while liaising with internal teams and external partners.Benefits:

Finance Analyst Responsibilities:
* Reconciling stock locations across the UK
* Supporting month-end reporting and accounting processes
* Investigating and reconciling discrepancies
* Preparing and posting loss/gain adjustments, regrades and accruals
* Submitting governmental inventory reports
* Liaising with hauliers and staff to resolve missing data
* Responding to ad-hoc queries from the London business team
* Supporting corporate projects as required
* Assisting an outsourced finance function with queries and providing feedback to the in-house team
* Preparing and submitting statutory report forms
Required Skills & Experience:
* Background in accounting, finance or analytical roles
* Previous experience in a similar varied accounts or finance position
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel - knowledge of SAP is advantageous
* Understanding of month-end reporting processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
