* Administer the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made within agreed terms
* Reconcile invoices against delivery notes and purchase orders, completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Prepare and process supplier payments, including BACS payment runs and purchase summaries
* Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance & IT, including deputising when required and contributing to team priorities
* Maintain accurate financial records, support system improvements, and contribute to continuous process improvement
Purchase Ledger Controller Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* Degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years relevant finance or bookkeeping experience
* Proven experience managing a purchase ledger and supplier accounts
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet monthly deadlines
* Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
