Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Client offices (Essex), Team meetings (Midlands region), retailer meetings, agency and supplier meetings.
Base pay range
Salary: up to £52,000 including car allowance + Performance bonus up to 9% of base salary per annum (paid bi-annually) + comprehensive benefits package (healthcare plan, life insurance, 25 days holiday) + group personal pension with 4% contribution + Occupational Maternity pay plus SMP.
About the role
Our client, a well-established speciality food company within the premium market, seeks an exceptional Shopper Marketing and E-commerce Manager to drive shopper marketing strategies across traditional retail and digital channels as part of the Mainstream Commercial Team.
Responsibilities
* Implement the Shopper Marketing strategy for bricks & mortar and retailer online across Multiple, Discounter, Convenience & Online channels (omni-channel).
* Act as account manager for E-commerce customers with potential development into new areas.
* Support further development of Shopper and E-commerce focus within the business.
* Increase engagement with the trade and deliver market-leading shopper campaigns.
* Develop insights via research, campaign analysis, industry reports and network, and translate into actions/campaigns with ROI impact.
* Manage online retailers; work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with proactive and creative delivery against timescales.
Responsibilities (detailed)
* Develop and implement Shopper Marketing initiatives across retailer.com for Multiple, Discounter, Convenience & Online channels aligned with category vision and retailer/channel objectives.
* Drive shopper acquisition, retention and loyalty; differentiate the client through shopper-first thinking.
* Understand the shopper journey, particularly the .com path to purchase, to influence and convert at key touchpoints.
* Support online and mobile optimization (brilliant basics); manage Brandbank/self-serve and dashboards.
* Analyse campaigns to gather insights for future planning; share learnings with Account Managers and retailers.
* Build relationships with retailer media contacts; identify cross-category collaborations.
* Budget management and tracking; collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies/suppliers to develop shopper-focused campaigns.
* Oversee campaign briefs, ideation, input from Marketing, and final sign-off; track industry and competitor activity.
* Grow retail accounts as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
* Degree or equivalent qualification.
* 2-4 years in Shopper Marketing/Brand Management, retailer.com and/or Digital experience across Multiples/Convenience/Discounter/ROI/Online channels.
* Understanding of shopper, consumer and customer landscapes; ability to engage and lead with customers.
* Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and a diverse workload; proactive and action-oriented.
