ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an SEO Account Manager. We’d expect the candidate to have excellent technical SEO skills to help resolve complex SEO challenges collaboratively with developers, content producers and other digital stakeholders. The role is suitable for an SEO Account Manager with a good amount of client facing experience who is looking for more opportunities to help develop the team and product offering within our agency.
The SEO Manager will be expected to demonstrate the following core competencies across 3 key operational areas: Technical SEO – Client management - Reporting
1. Technical SEO
We are seeking a strategic and well-rounded SEO Account Manager to work on our Soho House and Dorchester Collection client accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both technical and content SEO, with the ability to achieve optimal results for our clients.
2. About our Clients
The SEO Account Manager will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of SEO campaigns, from keyword research and competitor analysis to responding to content briefs for clients. Additionally, the right candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, providing regular reports and updates, and ensuring that client expectations are consistently met (or exceeded!).
3. About the Team
We are a small and nimble SEO team, dedicated to providing top SEO performance for our clients. You will work on our Soho House and Dorchester Collection accounts. Our successes are achieved by being a cohesive team, where new ideas and support are abundant and communication is ‘always on’. The SEO Account Manager will report directly to the Head of SEO.
ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking an exceptional SEO Account Manager who is a driven self-learner, a collaborative team player, and a passionate advocate for delivering exceptional results for our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a relentless pursuit of knowledge; continuously expanding their SEO expertise and staying abreast of industry trends.
About your experience:
· Experience within an agency background
· Considerable experience of on-going analyses of large websites
· Confidence in providing recommendations for optimisation relating to search engine crawling capability, indexation, accessibility, mobile performance, on-page optimisation and backlinks.
· Great understanding of keyword research and content GAP analysis, with the ability to identify opportunities
· Proven successes in on-page optimization and content briefs for content production
· The ability to successfully implement your recommendations
· Able to adapt and understand new web development technologies and how this affects SEO
· Considerable and demonstrable work with client stakeholders to understand infrastructure and frontend presentation layers (inc. JavaScript) on which search facing web platforms are built and how this impacts SEO
· Understanding of business operations and the requirements and how best SEO integrates
· Experience and confidence with reporting and presenting results, actions and next steps to clients weekly and monthly, and in quarterly meetings
· Demonstrable successes in presenting to clients
We'd also love if you have experience with:
· Setting relevant KPI’s and achievable SEO targets for the client
· Providing on-going scoping of projects
· Aligning strategies with other digital marketing channels
· Developing relationships with key client stakeholder
· Leading communication with clients
· Working on new business proposals and pitches
INTERVIEW PROCESS
For this role, the interview panel will be:
- Head of Digital Strategy
- Head of SEO
- SEO Content Lead
The first stage will be a Teams Interview with the Head of SEO and Content Account Manager, focusing on previous experience, SEO technical and content knowledge, ways of working and profile fit.
The second stage will in person in our Covent Garden office with our Head of Digital Strategy and the SEO team.
