Core Clinical Fellow - ENT | Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
Frimley Health Foundation Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in the South. Divided into two main sites, we require a St1-2/FY2/3 level doctor to join us on the Wexham Park Hospital site in the busy ENT department for a year. This is a full-time fixed-term post with weekend and night duties and is fully compliant with the EWTD.

Responsibilities
* You will be part of a junior doctor on-call rota (currently 1:6). You will see patients from Accident and Emergency, on wards or directly from GPs.
* Based mainly in clinic, you will be supported by middle and senior grades, performing procedures such as cautery, Nasendoscopy, and aural microscopy. Access to theatre is available for those pursuing a career in surgery.
* The role involves working in the ENT department with regular teaching sessions, monthly audit participation, and opportunities for involvement in teaching and theatre to support career progression.
* As part of the ENT team, you will contribute to a friendly and inclusive work environment and engage in regular meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and experience
* St1-2/FY2/3 level doctor
* Full compliance with EWTD
* Interest in Surgical and/or ENT career or General Practice with ENT skill development
Department and team
The ENT Department has 4 full-time consultants (+ one locum) with subspecialty interests in otology, rhinology, voice, and head and neck. The non-consultant staff includes 2 specialty doctors, 2 deanery registrars, 2 core surgical trainees and 6 junior grades. The department offers regular meetings and teaching sessions and provides opportunities for active participation in audit, teaching, and theatre.
