School Cleaner – Washington (Part-Time) We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a welcoming school in Washington on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with school cleaning experience who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in an educational setting. The role follows a set working pattern of 15:00–17:30 Monday to Thursday and 15:00–17:00 on Fridays, running until Summer 2026 with the potential for a permanent contract thereafter. As a School Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring the school environment is clean, safe, and presentable for pupils and staff, helping to maintain a positive and healthy setting for learning. Key Responsibilities Carry out cleaning duties across the school as a School Cleaner, including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas. Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with health and safety and hygiene regulations. Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively. Follow cleaning schedules and complete daily and periodic tasks as required. Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school day as a School Cleaner. Adhere to safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times. Working Pattern Monday to Thursday: 15:00 – 17:30 Friday: 15:00 – 17:00 The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience working as a School Cleaner or in a similar cleaning role within a school setting.
