Job Description

3. Manage procurement processes in line with organisational policies and legal requirements.
4. Identify and engage with suppliers to ensure the best value for goods and services.
5. Monitor contracts to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
6. Prepare and analyse tender documents to support decision-making.
7. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure continuity and quality of service.
8. Provide advice and guidance on procurement matters to internal stakeholders.
9. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for procurement activities.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

11. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and relevant regulations.
12. Experience in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in procurement and supply chain.
13. Proficiency in managing contracts and supplier relationships effectively.
14. Ability to analyse data and prepare detailed reports to aid decision-making.
15. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
16. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
17. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
