LEAD THE LEGACY OF CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF
Are you ready to shape the future of two of the UK’s most iconic golf courses? At The Celtic Collection, we’re looking for a visionary Head Greenkeeper to take charge of our Roman Road and Montgomerie championship courses. This is more than a maintenance role—it’s a chance to lead a passionate team, deliver world-class playing conditions, and contribute to unforgettable golfing experiences.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Champion the daily care, presentation, and development of our championship courses and practice facilities.
Lead, inspire, and grow a talented greenkeeping team, promoting wellbeing and career progression.
Manage budgets, equipment, and supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate across Estates and Golf teams to deliver excellence in service and sustainability.
Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovation to turf care and environmental stewardship.
Support tournament preparation and step into senior roles when needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Proven leadership in turf management, ideally as a Head Greenkeeper or in a senior role.
Internationally recognised sports turf qualification.
Chainsaw and spraying certifications valid in the UK.
Strong communication, organisation, and team-building skills.
Experience in tournament preparation and multi-course operations (desirable).
A hands-on approach, physical fitness, and a professional, well-presented appearance.
