The role of Communications Officer will include:
1. Creating compelling pieces of content across a range of communications channels including, but not limited to, PR, social media, internal communications, web content, video, direct communications, podcasts, speeches, briefings and presentations and publications
2. Supporting with the coordination, planning and delivery of external and internal projects, as required
3. Liaising with technical specialists such as designers, web managers, printers and suppliers to ensure the delivery of effective communications across all channels
4. Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, advising on and providing practical and cost-effective solutions for their communications challenges in order to communicate desired key messages and reach their target audience
5. Complete, improve and maintain effective and efficient administration systems and processes to support the delivery of services
Skills and experiences:
6. Proven experience of producing communication materials
7. Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
8. Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
9. Experience in supporting the successful delivery of projects
10. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
11. Ability to stay calm and constructive in meeting tight deadlines
12. Knowledge of design software and printing processes
13. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

26. Effective 1st April role salary is £33,397 per annum (rising to £35,144 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
