As a Senior Test Engineer, youll play a vital role in the Test and Simulation team, managing dynamometer testing, developing advanced test systems, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
This role is available on a permanent or contract basis (Outside IR35)
Key Responsibilities:
Testing Leadership: Manage Dyno test facilities, test schedules, and perform testing, verification, and validation of electric drive systems.
Test Development: Design and implement test rigs, fixtures, and system architecture using NI LabVIEW and MATLAB.
Data Analysis: Analyze and evaluate test data for validity, produce technical reports, and provide actionable insights.
Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior test engineers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements to enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
Requirements:
Qualifications: BEng/BSc in Electronics, Embedded, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Proven track record in electro-mechanical testing, particularly in Automotive or related sectors.
Skills: Strong understanding of electronics principles, measurement techniques, and signal processing.
Proficiency in LabVIEW programming, MATLAB, and data acquisition systems (e.g., PXI chassis).
Knowledge of DSP, Fourier analysis, and error calculation.
Traits: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
Additional:
Must be willing to travel overseas occasionally.
Full driving license with business-use insurance is required.
