A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Accrington is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join their team from Monday 3rd November.
This is an exciting chance to inspire and support students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies. The role:
* Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
* Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive department
* Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular opportunities
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be an ECT with strong subject knowledge
* Have recent experience teaching Humanities within a secondary setting
* Be committed, enthusiastic, and adaptable
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
