The practices are well-equipped with:
* Digital x-rays
* Ultrasound
* Full in-house lab
* Endoscopy
* 3 theatres (including a dedicated orthopedic theatre)
* Spacious consultation rooms
* Separate cat, dog, and isolation wards
The team is diverse, collaborative, and experienced — from new graduates through to vets with over 20 years’ expertise. With 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 2 ACAs and 4 Receptionists, you’ll never feel alone and you’ll always have support when you need it.
Role and Schedule
They run their own OOH service, supported by a dedicated night team and are keen to recruit an experienced emergency nurse to work a rota of 7 nights on, 7 nights off, from 8pm to 8am. Two branches offer different focuses for variety:
* Canine-only branch – heavily surgical, including neutering, C-sections, BOAS, entropion, ex-laps, and more
* General practice branch – treating dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and birds

Requirements
Experienced RVN or equivalent with a passion for emergency nursing. The role offers opportunities to develop surgical expertise and pursue certificates, with mentoring and long-term career development within the practice.
