About the role We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support the Team Leader with day to day tasks, help with admin, and step in to cover shifts. You will also take on responsibilities such as rota planning, updating person-centred care plans, and supporting with management tasks. Our service is a residential home for up to 12 people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and dementia. We focus on independence, choice, and respect—empowering each person to live their life in a way that feels meaningful and fulfilling. We’re proud to have recently improved our CQC rating from Requires Improvement to Good, showing the commitment and hard work of our whole team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care. In this role, you will support people to get involved in their local community, attend appointments, and take part in activities they enjoy. Everything we do is shaped around each person’s strengths, preferences, and goals. Our team works closely together to maintain strong quality standards, encourage continuous learning, and make the service a safe, supportive place to live. Hours Full-time: 39 hours per week, made up of: · 12-hour shifts (4 days), or · 10-hour shifts (3 days) · Sleep-ins are required Location Pitsea, Basildon, Essex About you This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives and ready to take on more responsibility.
