In September we began working with Trinity Multi Academy Trust with a view to joining their family of academies. Trinity is a growing and respected trust currently comprising of 11 academies, spanning primary to post-16 education and they have a strong and proud track record of helping schools to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of young people.

It’s an exciting time to be part of St Thomas’ as we enter this new chapter.

We are now seeking to appoint a Deputy Pastoral Manager to our team. This newly established role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of a strong pastoral provision and play a key role within the academy. You will support the Pastoral Manager to:

1. lead the effective running of pastoral systems in place, that promote a vibrant and safe learning environment throughout the academy.
2. lead personal development initiatives across the school
3. develop enrichment activities which contribute to pupils’ emotional and academic development.

What we need:

4. 5 or more GCSEs at grade 4/5 or above, including English and Maths (or equivalent)
5. Experience of supervising a team.
6. Experience of successfully working with identified disaffected pupils, or groups of pupils.
7. Experience of working with young people with SEN or behavioural issues.
