We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join a busy and supportive team based in Lewes. This is an initial 6‑month contract covering maternity leave, with the possibility of extension.
The team is looking for a confident and capable practitioner with strong statutory experience who can hit the ground running and manage a varied caseload effectively.
Key Requirements
* Strong experience within Adults Services
* Sound understanding of:
o Care Act Assessments
o Mental Capacity Assessments
o Safeguarding
* Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 cases
* Must be a car driver due to the rural nature of the area and community visits
