Support Worker
As part of our growing community team, based in hubs across Bolton, we are looking to recruit a Life Opportunities Support Worker who will deliver high quality, compassionate care and support. The role requires someone who thrives on variety, enjoys a challenge, and is highly adaptable, dependent on service need, including carrying out a variety of support tasks and be active in your role. About the role:
Working from a hub model we operate as a priority in making sure that we are connecting people with others, meeting new people, targeting isolation and accessing a range of social activities and achieving outcomes. This particular role would suit a person who enjoys celebrating and engaging the skills of older adults. A flexible approach in your pattern of supporting people will ensure we meet the needs of the people we support.
Experience and skills required:
* Must have experience supporting adults within a social care setting.
* Ability to develop supportive relationships, promoting independence and wellbeing.
* Ability to use a computer and be IT literate.
* You will be highly motivated to deliver outstanding care and support.
* Understand that communication is varied and comes in many forms.
* Have the ability to work in a person-centred way.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37 per week
