Bray Cranes Limited are a well-established and customer-focussed mobile crane hire business looking for an experienced member of staff to join their small office team based in their Birtley depot.
Role Description
* Organising and maintaining our busy hire desk schedule and customer crane hire requirements professionally and efficiently (via telephone and email)
* Liasing with our other office staff to ensure that the required customer visits are scheduled and the feedback is integrated into the upcoming crane schedule
* Communicating the upcoming crane schedule with our personnel, workforce planning and distribution of the required paperwork daily
* Daily transport planning of our van and motor fleet to ensure additional equipment is on site on time as required
* Building rapport with our regular customer base and ensuring that expectations are met in a timely manner
* Liasing with new customers, providing pricing/quotations and supporting in new account set up ahead of new hire requirements
* Support customer compliance requirements by completing and providing required documentation and questionnaires to ensure we remain a valid, compliant supplier
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations, a flow of information to support invoicing and excellent customer service
* Comply with all company policies and procedures, including adherence to all Health & Safety policies
Skills Required
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to effectively liaise with our employees, customers and suppliers to resolve queries
* Proficient in Microsoft office programmes
* Exceptional organisational and customer service skills with a strong attention to detail
* A proactive attitude and a professional, positive approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of our small team
* A background in crane hire or logistics planning, ideally as a hire controller or equivalent
