Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Key Account Manager to join the UK's leading lighting manufacturer. You will promote high-quality lighting products, including lighting, lighting controls, and luminaires, and actively generate demand through strategic project hunting across sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Commercial, MOD, and MOJ.
Responsibilities
1. Influence decision-makers like ME contractors, consultants, food manufacturing, logistics, warehouses, and industrial end users to specify our products.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships within your territory to drive specifications and close project opportunities.
3. Collaborate with lighting designers to ensure optimal product solutions aligned with project needs.
4. Identify and convert new project opportunities into sales.
5. Ensure all activities comply with company policies.
Benefits
* Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 + OTE £90,000 - £100,000+

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a background in lighting, especially external sales, and experience working with lighting contractors, installers, designers, or wholesalers. A good understanding of the project sales process and exposure to sectors like food manufacturing, logistics, warehouses, or industrial is preferred.
You should be a confident communicator, capable of influencing specifications and securing project wins. Ambition, relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and technical knowledge are essential. The role suits someone on an upward career trajectory, eager to learn and develop both personally and professionally.
