To ensure the efficient, safe, and compliant production / installation of electrical systems and components to the aircraft. Provide technical support to the production team, creating and documenting process whilst ensuring a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
* Process development and optimisation: Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for all aircraft electrical systems.
* Technical Support: Provide engineering support to production team to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery.
* Design for manufacturability: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure electrical designs are manufacturable, serviceable and cost effective.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure all electrical manufacturing activities comply with aviation regulations.
* Tooling & Documentation: Specify tooling, jigs, and fixtures, and create detailed work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
* Quality Assurance: Analyse defects, implement root cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventative actions.
* Continuous Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase efficiency.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
* Aerospace/Manufacturing industry experience.
* Good working knowledge of IT systems (Aerotrac)
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Commercial Awareness.
* Ability to remain flexible to meet the wider demands of an expanding business.
* Ambitious, self-motivated and hardworking
* Problem solver.
* Good command of English spelling and grammar in all written correspondence.
