Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

About the Role
An inclusive and supportive educational setting in the PR7 area is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This role involves working closely with students who require additional support managing their behaviour, helping them to engage positively in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support to students
* Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote engagement
* Support students both in and out of the classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
* Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and engagement
* Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interaction
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Team Teach, or similar) desirable but not essential
