A well-established and growing regional housebuilder is looking for a Planner to join their planning department. The role will support the delivery of regional planning and profit targets, while helping to identify cost-effective solutions for the discharge of planning conditions and reserved matters.

Planner Duties:
* Supporting the Design and Technical teams in delivering regional planning and profit targets
* Monitoring individual site programmes and coordinating necessary actions alongside internal teams and, where required, external town planning consultants
* Liaising with local authorities to agree mechanisms and action plans to discharge planning conditions and consents required to implement site approvals
* Assisting with the discharge of pre-start Section 106 obligations and planning requirements
* Chasing progress and coordinating activity across internal departments to ensure programmes are maintained
* Monitoring progress with local authorities and external agencies to avoid delays and support programme delivery
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly progress reports, highlighting progress and any risks to programme
Planner Specification:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Post-qualification experience in a planning role (developer, consultancy, xsngvjr or local authority)
* Experience supporting residential or residential-led mixed-use developments
* Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills with an understanding of planning processes and programme management
* Typically 2+ years experience working for a developer, consultancy, or local authority
