We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Build Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Southampton. * Assemble and fit small mechanical components and engine parts to exacting standards.
* Work confidently with a range of engine components such as pistons, valves, crankshafts, camshafts, and associated mechanical parts.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications, taking concepts through to final build.
* Work with tight tolerances and ensure all assemblies meet quality and performance requirements.
* Use Jira, Microsoft tools, and other software systems to log and track build data and technical issues.
* Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve challenges and optimise assembly processes.
Mechanical Build EngineerAbout You:
* Proven hands-on mechanical experience in a fitting, assembly, or build environment.
* Comfortable working with small components and precision assemblies.
* Worked within a Engineering/Manufacturing environment
* Strong working knowledge of engine parts and their functions within mechanical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Confident working within tight tolerances and quality-focused processes.
* Experience using Jira, Microsoft Excel, or other data logging tools.A background in motorcycle maintenance, engine builds, or similar mechanical work would be a distinct advantage.
