A renowned educational institution in Thornton-Cleveleys, is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
* Contributing to the development of the english curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Participating in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and developments in english education.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in English or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching english at the secondary school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
