The Opportunity
On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable automotive service centre, we are currently recruiting for a qualified MOT Tester to join their growing workshop team. This is a stable, long-term opportunity offering consistent workload, modern facilities, and a supportive management structure.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations and standards
*
Accurately record test results using approved MOT systems
*
Identify faults, advisories, and safety issues clearly and professionally
*
Ensure all testing equipment is maintained and calibrated correctly
*
Maintain high standards of health & safety within the workshop
*
Provide clear communication to service advisors / management
*
Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Candidate Requirements
*
Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4) – essential
*
Previous experience in a similar MOT Tester role
*
Strong knowledge of DVSA testing standards and procedures
*
High attention to detail and accuracy
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential)
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
*
Experience with minor mechanical repairs / servicing
*
Familiarity with digital workshop systems
