Automation Sales Engineer - West Midlands
Join a globally recognised leader in industrial automation and take ownership of a high-potential territory across the West Midlands. This field-based role focuses on selling advanced automation hardware and software solutions to OEMs, machine builders and panel builders. Around 80% of your time will be spent engaging directly with end users-identifying opportunities, supporting applications and driving demand. The remaining 20% will involve working closely with distribution partners, developing their product knowledge and supporting joint growth initiatives.
You'll represent a premium technology portfolio used across sectors including power, data centres and rail. The role requires regular travel across the region, with occasional opportunities to attend training in Germany.
We're looking for someone with field sales experience in an industrial or electrical environment, confident selling to end users while working through distribution channels. A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and comfort with territory travel are key.
