Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Barnet, North London
Salary: M1 (Outer London)
Contract: Part time 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students in KS1 following the school's curriculum guidelines and standards.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate the varied learning styles and abilities of students, providing appropriate support and challenge to ensure every student achieves their full potential.
Implement effective formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to participate actively in lessons.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular communication and opportunities for parent involvement in their child's education.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing Initial Teacher Training (ITT) leading to QTS.
* Passion for teaching and commitment to promoting the holistic development of every student.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
