Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 female Personal Assistants to provide support to a lady who is a wheelchair user with daily living and to access the local community. No lifting will be required for this person.
Morning Shift
* Support getting up, dressing, and be present during shower.
* Assist with meal preparation and light domestic cleaning.
* Handle paperwork and online ordering as needed.
* No toileting assistance required.
* Provide optional outings, including wheelchair access to a specialised hatchback car, shopping, and local activities.
Hours: 8:30 am – 10:00 am, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (possible additional hours on certain days by agreement).
Evening Shift
* Assist with getting ready for bed.
* Perform light cleaning tasks.
Hours: 8:30 pm – 9:00 pm (or 9:30 pm on agreement), Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Female applicants only.
* Cheerful, sense of humour, common sense, problem-solving skills, initiative.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic essential.
* Basic computer and internet skills helpful for the morning shift.
* A driver preferred; if applicant drives, must hold a full clean licence.
* No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Salary & Benefits
Hourly rate of £15 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme are available.
