Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Concierge Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a student accommodation site in Salford, Manchester M6 area.

Hours: On average 66 hours per week, as per site rota. Monday to Wednesday 18:00 to 08:00, Saturday and Sunday 06:00 to 18:00. 3 nights and 2 days.
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.
Person Specification:
* A valid SIA licence; or applied for.
* A full five-year checkable employment history.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good level of judgement and professionalism.
* IT skills.
* Physically & medically fit.
* Smart appearance.
* Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills.
* 2 – 5 years’ experience would be advantageous.
* Ability to deal with emergency services.
* Must be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS paid for by Kingdom.
The Role:
Deliver a high-quality concierge and security service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Act as an initial point of contact.
* Ensure overall safety and security of the premises out of hours.
* Respond to faults within the premises as discovered.
* Monitor access to the premises and visitors.
* Meet health and safety policies and practices.
* Report incidents and anti-social behaviour.
* Record information effectively.
* Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
* Advise management promptly of any signs of problems or concerns about a client.
* Report repairs to maintenance contractors using appropriate systems.
* Consider culture and diversity issues for clients and report any discrimination.
Knowledge and Experience:
* Understanding of Health & Safety at work & likely issues in a residential building.
* Non-judgmental attitude towards clients with challenging behaviour.
* Effective communication skills.
* Teamwork: considerate, supportive, flexible, responsible.
* Customer focus: build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds.
* Flexibility in responsibilities and working hours.
