Job Title: DBS Checked General Assistant – Schools – Temp basis

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and reliable General Assistants to support our clients school in southampton. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in diverse environments and is passionate about contributing to the well-being of children.
As this role involves working in schools, an Enhanced Dbs would be required, if you have not applied for one in the past and would like to we can apply for one for you for £61, or we can give you the relevant information in order to do one,
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with daily operational tasks in both educational and care settings
2. Support staff with administrative duties and the smooth running of the facility
3. Provide general care, supervision, and support for children and residents
4. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment
5. Liaise with teachers, care providers, and management to address immediate needs
6. Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism
Essential Requirements:
7. A current DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to employment)
8. Experience working in schools, care homes, or similar environments is advantageous
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
11. Flexibility to adapt to the varied needs of both educational and care settings
12. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail
