Role: Stress Engineer
Contract: Permanent (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Stress Engineer to join a leading engineering services provider supporting advanced aerospace programmes. You’ll play a key role in the structural analysis and validation of aircraft seating systems, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with aerospace standards.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with 3 days on-site in Cwmbran and 2 days working from home.
Performing finite element analysis (FEA) using Altair Hyperworks (Hypermesh, Optistruct, Hyperview) and MSC Nastran
Conducting linear and non-linear implicit analysis
Preparing and presenting high-quality technical reports
Knowledge of fatigue analysis, damage tolerance, and occupant injury criteria
