Job Title: Crushing and Screening Fitter
Job Purpose: The Crushing and Screening Fitter is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing crushing and screening equipment used in construction, mining, and quarry operations. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, ensuring equipment runs efficiently, and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on crushing and screening machinery. Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults on plant equipment.
* Installation & Commissioning: Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Safety & Compliance: Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications.
* Equipment Inspection & Reporting: Conduct inspections, complete reports, and maintain maintenance records.
* Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Respond to breakdowns, repair on-site or in workshops, and collaborate with engineers and management.
* Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and assist in training site personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in maintenance and repair of crushing and screening machinery; experience in mining, quarry, or construction preferred.
* Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read technical manuals and schematics; proficiency with diagnostic tools.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering; relevant health and safety certifications preferred; valid driver’s license.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to work in challenging environments and perform heavy manual labor.
* Personal Skills: Problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with specific brands or types of equipment.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
