Job Summary
Due to the recent promotion of the previous post holder, the position of Team Coordinator for Acute Paediatrics has become available. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous medical secretary and supervisory experience, or someone looking to expand their skills, to join our team and make a difference.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate superb administration and secretarial skills, have an excellent team ethic, and a passion for learning in a varied and evolving role.
Main Duties of the Job
The primary role involves supervising and managing the Acute Paediatrics administration team daily, ensuring adequate staffing and adherence to best practice guidance, trust policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Clinical Administration Lead (CAL) and the Care Group Management Team.
The post holder will provide secretarial support within the acute paediatrics medical team as part of a team of 13 secretaries and will cover for colleagues when needed.
The main duties are outlined here but may evolve with the Trust’s development to meet corporate objectives and NHS targets.
