Overview
Teaching Assistant position at Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucester, GL4 0UN. Full-time hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm. Permanent, term time only. Part-time consideration may be possible for the right applicant. Salary: £22,300.00 per annum (not pro rata).
Note: The role is part of Outcomes First Group and supports the group’s commitment to wellbeing and inclusive education, including the 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial where applicable.
About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and committed Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. You will help deliver an outstanding curriculum, motivate pupils, and achieve positive outcomes for our young people. The successful candidate will have experience working with young people with a range of complex learning needs and be able to demonstrate an understanding of how these needs impact learning and behaviour. The role involves working with pupils on a 1:1 basis to support their transition into school and their academic and personal progress.

Qualifications Required
* Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) – essential
* Ability to drive school vehicles – desirable
