We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead a safe, compliant and high-performing operation, ensuring all Environmental, Health & Safety, legal, security, and hygiene standards are consistently met
* Translate customer requirements into robust operational plans, delivering service levels, KPI performance and cost targets
* Develop and inspire leadership capability across Department Managers and Shift Managers through coaching, mentoring, performance management and succession planning
* Drive continuous improvement and cultural development, challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities to enhance cost, service and efficiency
* Maintain positive and constructive employee and union relations, creating and inclusive, engaged and high-performance working environment
What you need to succeed at GXO:
You will be a confident, resilient leader with proven experience in a fast-moving retail/eCommerce logistics operation and a strong track record of delivering results through people
* Strong operational and commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset
* Experience of driving change, continuous improvement and cultural transformation
* Strong IT capability, including MS Office and warehouse systems
