Closing date: 2 June 2026 Salary: £25,989- £28,142 per annum. Role summary You'll be providing high-quality administrative and business support to our Home finding team for children in care and care leavers within the Children's Commissioning service. You'll ensure the smooth running of services and help the team to work efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve the support of operational delivery and the handling of data and financial processes. What you'll do - key responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and business support within the Home Team Collect, analyse and present data to support decision-making and service improvement. Support financial processes including invoice checking, reporting and query resolution. Coordinate meetings, answer calls from external providers and ensuring deadlines and requirements are met. Act as a key contact for queries from internal social care teams and commissioning colleagues as well as external providers of care and support. What we're looking for - knowledge, experience & skills Essential Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues at all levels. Previous experience of working in an administrative role. Previous supervisory experience as the role involves line management. Previous experience of team working. Minimum NVQ Level 3 Standard / 5 GCSE's including Maths and English at Grade C or above with good standards of literacy, numeracy and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel. Able to prioritise and work to deadlines. Able to build strong relationships with external providers Positive, committed, adaptable, thorough and confident approach. Able to practice high levels of confidentiality at all times. Proactive and able to work with little supervision, using own initiative. Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and reprioritise work to meet changing deadlines with a flexible approach to work. Drive and self-motivation - can do attitude. Ability work as part of a collaborative team. Demonstrate good accuracy skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills at all levels Tactful and diplomatic. Reliable and resourceful. Ability to speak fluent English as stated in Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Additional Information" This is a fixed term role until 31/12/2026 (to cover the secondment of the substantive employee), full-time role, working 37 hours a week.
