We are thrilled to be working with a huge international business headquartered in Birmingham, looking for a Group Internal Auditor to join their dynamic internal audit team. This is an exciting opportunity offering genuine long-term progression internally into either leadership or broader finance roles.
This is a standout opportunity for a practice-trained ACA or ACCA qualified auditor looking to transition into a commercial role with global exposure. You'll be travelling to sites across various countries gaining an in-depth view of how a world-class group operates.
This role comes with an annual salary circa £55,000.00.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering internal audit fieldwork across UK and international subsidiaries, covering financial and IT controls
Preparing and presenting clear audit reports with actionable recommendations to Group leadership, including Risk and Audit Committees
Partnering with operations teams on special projects such as Product Compliance, Supply Chain audits, and Inventory controls
Supporting the roll out of a new Risk Management system, working closely with cross-functional teams
Reviewing whistleblowing cases with professionalism and confidentiality
Designing and strengthening internal financial controls, then tracking implementation across the Group
Contributing to internal training initiatives, including support for ICAEW traineesCandidate Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
ACA or ACCA qualified (ideally practice trained)
Strong understanding of financial controls, audit methodology, and risk frameworks
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and collaborating across departments
Willingness to travel internationally (expenses covered)
