My client is seeking an exceptional Fundraising Lead to join their established charity based in Norfolk. For over 50 years, their organisation has provided critical pre-hospital emergency care to those who need it most.
As the Fundraising Lead, you'll play a vital role in securing sustainable income for their life-saving work. Based at their headquarters, you'll build and lead a fundraising team, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and create impactful campaigns that support their mission.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Charity Manager in fundraising initiatives
Researching and writing high-quality applications to trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with funders
Creation and management of a calendar of fundraising events
Building and leading a team of fundraising volunteers
Management of budgets for fundraising events and projects
Assistance in the development of marketing materials
You are a motivated self-starter with:
Minimum three years' experience in fundraising, sales or a similar transferable role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong research abilities to identify new funding opportunities
Proven ability to manage your time, workload and meet deadlines
IT proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and internet research
A passion for leading from the front and developing charitable initiatives
Tenacity, drive, and close attention to detail
