This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth of a nursery from opening. We are looking for a Level 3 (or higher) Deputy Nursery Manager to join our brand new nursery in Chalfont St. Peter.

We are a small family run nursery group that has been operating for 30 years. We currently have four nurseries, all of which are rated 'Good' by Ofsted and have a strong waitlist. What we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this Deputy Nursery Manager role will be someone who loves working with children in the early years and has some experience of being part of the management team of a nursery. We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude and the willingness for every child in your care to succeed. You must be qualified at Level 3 (early years) or higher. The role would suit someone who has experience of working in more senior roles in the early years, particularly as a Deputy Nursery Manager.
The ideal candidate will:
* have a minimum of three years experience of working in a nursery
* be passionate about working in the early years
* be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
* have a Level 3 (full and relevant early years) or higher qualification
* have commitment to your role
* have a fun, can-do attitude
* have previous experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager (desirable), or in a senior role within a nursery (Room Leader or higher)
Responsibilities
* Support daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children
* Promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors
* Support the Nursery Manager with their duties
* Work together with your team, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and well-being
* Maintain compliance with childcare regulations and standards to ensure high-quality care.
