HR Business Partner (Fixed Term Contract, 2 years)


The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping the people experience across a large, global programme. As HR Business Partner, your primary focus will be on bringing our purpose—‘People helping people’—to life in the daily work environment, supporting a healthy performance culture, and ensuring both leaders and employees thrive.


The HR Business Partner will be dedicated exclusively to supporting the organisation that is driving a major IT project.


In this role, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement people experience strategies tailored to the needs and culture of the IT project team. At the same time, you will collaborate and coordinate closely with the wider HR team, ensuring that HR initiatives remain aligned and integrated with those supporting the broader organisation.


This position is pivotal in fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging environment within the project organisation, whilst maintaining consistency with overarching HR policies and programmes.

You will support leaders in their professional growth and help team members develop their skills, ensuring that every HR activity—from onboarding and recognition to wellbeing and retention programmes—is delivered seamlessly in line with programme and organisational goals.



What you’ll be doing


* Develop and implement people experience strategies aligned with our programme’s mission and values
* Promote a culture of trust, wellbeing, and high performance throughout the project organisation
* Partner with leaders to support their ongoing development and ability to nurture talent
* Guide and facilitate employee growth and development opportunities
* Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure HR activities and best practices are embedded across the programme
* Lead the development of onboarding, recognition, and engagement programs.
* Gather and analyse employee feedback and engagement data to drive continuous improvement
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all people initiatives
* Monitor the effectiveness of our people experience efforts and provide actionable recommendations
* Stay up to date with industry trends to ensure our employee experience remains best-in-class Your contribution will be vital in creating an environment where our people feel valued, empowered, and inspired to contribute to our shared success.


Qualifications and experience


* Proven experience in employee engagement, culture lead, or a similar role.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in tools like HR systems, survey platforms, and collaboration software.
* A passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
* Clarity: Conveying the programme mission and values effectively.
* Active Listening: Understanding employee feedback and acting on it.
* Facilitation: Leading discussions, workshops, and team-building activities.
* Event Coordination: Planning and executing engagement activities and programmes to support culture setting and change.
* Time Management: Balancing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
* Attention to Detail: Ensuring the accuracy and professionalism of cultural initiatives.
* Vision Alignment: Ability to align cultural initiatives with organisational goals.
* Inspiring Others: Leading by example and motivating teams to embrace cultural values.
