About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes is one of the newest Business Units and has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power.
Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero, and Energy Security.
In both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and highly organized Personal Assistant (PA) who will also provide Project Support across a range of initiatives. This dual-role position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills a flexible approach and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. In this role you'll role you will report directly to the Technical Director’s PA. Responsibilities will include:
1. Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistics.
2. Make domestic and international travel arrangements, accommodation, and transport.
3. Prepare and process expense claims.
4. Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations.
5. Team development: supporting the TD to develop our new teams to foster a strong culture and establishing effective ways of working
6. Creating an “Identity” for Technical Directorate to build trust within the wider organization, to include supporting the delivery of a Communication Plan.
7. Administrative activities as required including the organisation, preparation and supporting the delivery of Team meetings and presentations.
8. Understanding the needs and expectations of Board, Shareholders, Investors, regulators and any other interested parties.
9. Managing effective communication between Technical Directorate and their stakeholders including cross-functional teams and other departments.
