We are currently hiring for a Technical Trainer position in Milton Keynes. Full time on-site role, offering a final salary of £60,000-£65,000 pa (DOE)

The Technical Trainer Role Summery
The Technical Trainer will support the ARMS Site Resident Teams training and development. ARMS Innovations have developed and launched an industry leading comprehensive Professional Development Plan (PDP) for our engineers. The PDP provides a long-term training and development pathway for our highly valued engineers from new apprentice entrants to automation engineer professional. The Technical Trainer will be instrumental in the management, coordination and delivery of this program.
Management, Coordination and delivery of PDP / Technical Training.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through engineer feedback and performance metrics.
Managing employee enrolment for scheduled training sessions and organising the resource to facilitate training programmes.
Manage Engineers individual training records in line with our company professional development plan (PDP)
Design deliver and evaluate training modules covering mandatory WAH, MH and comprehensive asset training.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are up to date and relevant.
Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans accordingly to facilitate engineer development through their PDP.
Evaluate all development / progression frameworks within engineering ensuring employees and line managers can achieve fully competent status.
Provide regular feedback to engineering management on developmental progression.
Support skill gap analysis for all technical engineering roles
Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
Support root cause and data analysis for facility improvements as and when required
Experience in technical training
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or related field
Previous experience as Multi Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer/ Project Engineer /Manager with a strong technical knowledge in relevant fields
Strong organisation planning and time management skills.
Knowledge of various training methods including coaching workshops classroom training mentoring and e-learning programmes
Efficient in Microsoft Office package
Experience in designing creating and implementing L&D strategies or development training.

Shift Pattern / Working Hours
The Technical Trainer role is Mon to Fri 08:00 -17:00 but will include one weekend in four working.
The role is site based with limited remote/ hybrid working.
