Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Press Brake Setter / Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid experience (preferably with Safan Darley press brakes).
Shift Pattern & Working Hours:
14:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday
Overtime Availability
Responsibilities:
* To manufacture precision detailed sheet metal components including the set up and use of Press Brakes
* To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any manufacturing area which includes Assembly, Machine Shop and Fabrication
* To use precision equipment such as Vernier callipers
* To use and maintain equipment
* Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
* To support team members with other tasks as and when necessary
* Follow Health & Safety Policies
Qualifications:
* Experience of setting and operating CNC Press Brakes
* Precision Sheet Metal work experience
* Ability to sue engineering measuring equipment
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Ability to read engineering drawings

Working Conditions:
This position works in a production environment with the risk of injury. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing heavy steel is required.
