Overview

Senior Bid Manager role at Tech Talent Identified Ltd. We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Bid Manager to join our Work Winning Team. This key role is responsible for overseeing the production and management of persuasive, high-quality, and concise Procurement Specific Questionnaires (PSQs) and bids/tenders. The successful candidate will support the organisation's growth by delivering winning submissions that meet client needs and achieve high-quality scores.


Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the bid process, including pre-market engagement, tender reviews, and strategy development.
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of subject matter experts to produce competitive, high-quality submissions.
* Organise tender launch meetings, maintain bid programmes, and ensure deadlines are met.
* Create high-quality written submissions and post-tender presentations, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
* Identify and communicate win themes effectively while mitigating potential risks.
* Conduct internal bid reviews and lessons learned sessions to refine bidding strategies.
* Mentor and guide junior team members to support their development.
* Maintain bid library resources, case studies, CVs, and KPIs.
* Upload tender submissions via client portals and ensure accurate records are maintained.
* Represent the organisation at conferences, events, and site visits as required.


Skills, Knowledge & Experience

* At least five years experience producing high-quality bids, preferably in construction or a related sector.
* Comprehensive understanding of procurement regulations, government policies, and industry trends.
* Strong understanding of social housing sector challenges such as sustainability, building safety, and social value.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail and confident communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Adobe InDesign.
* Leadership skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative mindset.
