SEO Manager – eCommerce & Digital Strategy Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent (Hybrid – 3 days in the office: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Quarterly Bonus We’re searching for an experienced and commercially minded SEO Manager to join a growing digital agency known for delivering outstanding web and eCommerce solutions. You’ll manage relationships with two long-term clients as well as newly onboarded accounts, owning the SEO strategy and driving measurable growth through intelligent, insight-led optimisation. This role is ideal for someone who’s both strategic and technical — confident conducting in-depth audits, identifying opportunities, and translating technical SEO into clear, actionable plans for clients. What you’ll be doing Develop and deliver SEO strategies tailored to each client, with a strong focus on eCommerce performance. Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for ongoing accounts and new onboarded clients. Conduct comprehensive SEO and ad-hoc technical audits, providing recommendations that drive visibility and revenue growth. Collaborate with technical and development teams to ensure SEO best practice is embedded across all web builds and updates. Support the new business team during pitches — providing strategic insight, identifying upsell opportunities, and demonstrating SEO impact. Monitor performance across analytics tools, prepare insightful reports, and confidently present results to clients. Work closely with the Delhi-based SEO specialists to brief, review, and refine technical deliverables. What we’re looking for 2–4 years’ SEO experience, ideally within an agency or working with eCommerce brands. A strategic mindset – able to build and communicate a long-term SEO roadmap. Solid technical SEO understanding (metadata, redirects, structured data, robots.txt, etc.) – you’re not coding, but you know how websites and code work. Confident conducting and presenting SEO audits (including ad-hoc requests). Skilled with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog. Ability to explain complex SEO concepts in plain, client-friendly language. Commercial awareness – comfortable identifying and discussing upsell opportunities. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
