Fire Extinguisher Engineer - Huddersfield - £24,000 - £38,000 Per Annum
* £24,000 basic salary
* 5% commission on each completed job (based on invoice value)
* Average annual earnings: £36,000 - £38,000+, with potential to exceed depending on performance
* Additional bonus opportunities available through annual performance review
* Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
* 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + 3 additional Christmas shutdown days
* Covering Yorkshire & Manchester areas
* Company van provided (business use)

Role Overview
We are currently on the look out for a Fire Extinguisher Engineer to carry out the servicing, maintenance, and installation of portable fire extinguishers across a range of client sites. The role is field based and involves working independently as well as within a small team, ensuring all work is completed in line with current fire safety regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and install portable fire extinguishers in accordance with BS 5306 standards
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits
* Complete accurate certification, service records, and compliance documentation
* Ensure all work meets current fire safety regulations and company quality standards
* Provide a professional and customer-facing service on client premises
* Manage and maintain stock and equipment within the company vehicle
* Communicate clearly with clients regarding completed works and recommendations
* Support occasional working away assignments as required (typically 2-3 days per month; some months this won\'t be required) with all travel, accommodation, and meal expenses covered
* Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in fire extinguisher servicing or fire protection engineering preferred
* FIA qualifications (or equivalent) desirable, though training can be provided
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Confident communication and customer-facing skills
* Full UK driving licence required
