Field Service Engineer

Key role and responsibilities for Field Service Engineer
1. Provide exceptional service to all customers
2. Root cause removal of issues and feed information for technical bulletins
3. Regular PPM maintenance of existing products
4. Installing systems and products
5. Updating site equipment and carrying out all relevant hardware and software modifications
6. Managing and controlling of spare parts of products repair and upgrade
7. Building long-term relationships with customers
8. Ensuring all the items not are not out of service for more than h
9. Report any issues on companies system
10. Respond to calls within 2 hours with high first time fix rate
11. Ensure all the documentation is recorded accurately
To undertake any other duties required by management to meet the needs of the business
Responding to on site customer support requests
Keep accurate boot stocks and consume parts as per the process
Minimum requirements for Field Service Engineer
12. Full UK driving licence
13. Sound electrical / electronic background with recognised engineering qualifications an advantage
14. Experience of Networks and server installation and maintenance an advantage
15. PC literate with ability to create, modify and maintain MS office documents (excel, Word, PowerPoint)
16. Proven organisational skills and self-motivated
17. Weekend and evening call out cover on a rota system with other regional engineers
