About the role Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 18:00–06:00, you’ll be a crucial part of our nighttime transport operation, supporting drivers, monitoring movements, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely throughout the night. You will be responsible for: Tracking drivers and monitoring progress throughout their routes Briefing and debriefing drivers at the start and end of shifts Updating Velocity and other internal systems with real time information Sending communications for late‑running vehicles and service updates Handling callouts for any vehicle issues and escalating where needed Keeping clear records and supporting compliance Working closely with the team to maintain strong communication overnight About you You’ll have experience within the transport industry and a good understanding of drivers’ hours and basic UK geography. You’ll be someone who works well in a team while also being confident taking ownership when needed. Strong decision making skills, good organisation, and clear communication will help you succeed in this fast paced, nighttime role.
