At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to work as part of our Medical Secretary team within the ENT department located at Royal Stoke Hospital. The post holder will provide comprehensive secretarial support, waiting list management and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team.
Candidates should possess a professional attitude towards their work and have the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment. You will be required to work as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines.
You will be responsible for the management of your own workload, working closely with other Medical Secretaries, Consultants and the Management Team.

Qualifications
* GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
* Knowledge of NHS procedures
Experience
* Minimum two years working in an office environment
* Experience working within a team
* Knowledge of Trust procedures
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Previous working experience within NHS environment
* Experience answering telephone calls
