We are looking to recruit an experienced and committed Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join our friendly operating theatre team at The Wilmslow Hospital. You will be working with highly experienced expert consultants and nurses. The Hospital has recently expanded its services from day stay surgeries to include overnight stays. What You Will Do To ensure that professional and national standards are met in accordance to the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health Professions Council (HPC) and HCA’s Code of Conduct. To provide clinical leadership and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for patients undergoing different forms of surgery to ensure the provision of evidence-based care. Prepare the recovery room according to the individual needs of the patient and consultant. The post holder must act as a role model in providing specialist knowledge within the recovery area. To work as part of a team supporting and developing colleagues by mentoring and assessing their skills. What You Will Bring NMC or HCPC registration Degree educated Theatre recovery experience essential within a UK Hospital Good computer skills Ability to work as part of a team A second skill (Anaesthetics or Scrub) is desirable but not essential Why HCA UK?
